Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (DMEF) The Direct Marketing Educational Foundation's primary goals are to attract new talent and to strengthen and support direct and interactive marketing education.

The Internet Alliance An organization of Internet policy professionals representing the Internet online industry on the state, federal and international levels

Nonprofit Federation With more than 500 members, the DMA Nonprofit Federation is the largest organization representing nonprofits that use direct mail, telephone, and the Internet to communicate with donors, members, and the general public.

Interactive Marketing Solutions was organized in 2001 to help direct marketers comply with the requests of consumers who do not want to receive unsolicited marketing material via mail, e-mail and/or telephone. IMS manages for the DMA, the world’s largest consumer preference database of nearly 9,000,000 consumers. Additionally, as the processing arm of the DMA, IMS manages the “do not call” list for various states.

Email Experience Council In a move to bolster its commitment to interactive marketing and accelerate the impact of our email marketing efforts, the DMA has acquired independent email industry group The Email Experience Council (EEC). The Email Marketing Council will merge with the EEC to form one combined Council with one powerhouse of expertise. EEC will continue to promote the most effective and ethical use of email as a marketing and customer service tool by articulating ethical guidelines, by promoting best practices, and by serving as a forum for leaders to confer and collaborate as the industry evolves.
